What are some books dealing with overwhelming paranoia? It could be comical, like Pynchon, or just a horror novel, but any work in regards to that would work.

I just read The Petty Demon by Sologub. Sort of deals with that. Was actually recommended through /lit/. I would give it a 7/10.
