Why does the phrase "no problem" piss off older generations so much?
Does it?
>>8112124
Never seen that happen.
>>8112136
yes it really does. At least in the south where I live
>>8112151
I live in the south and this is literally all I say when someone thanks me. I haven't had any old people get pissy about it, and I associate with a lot of old folks being a church member.
>>8112124
Probably because it implies that a. If it was a problem you wouldn't have done it b. You are dismissing their thanks or c. Because its a very easy going lax attitude towards everything. Especially c because older generations tend to feel younger generations take everything for granted while feeling like they have it all under control
>>8112157
fine, well I've been bitch at multiply times for it and here old people are always lecturing about how rude it is
>>8112171
I'm the guy who says it and never got in trouble. North Georgia
