any of you read this? what'd ya think?

It's beautiful and intelligent. One of the best books on Jesus you'll ever read, maybe the best.
>>8092224
can ya go a bit more in depth than that. what exactly is it all about
I'm interested but how heavy is it on Catholic dogmatism and spooky ghosts and whatnot
Is Ratzinger based?
>>8092325
very based
>>8091891
It's great. Ratzinger is a fantastic author.
>>8092327
What else do you recommend / is there a book I should start first?
Anyone ever try reading Balthasar?
>>8092364
Isn't Balthasar a heretic or something?
Anyway, Salt of Earth and Europe were pretty good. Church Fathers was a bit too short and basic because it's for a more general audience. Jesus of Nazareth has 3 volumes so that's a good start.
>>8092228
Jeez, don't you get it?

He and Ratzinger started Communio and JP2 named him to be a cardinal. Was favorite theologian of both.
He is basically the patrician of all patricians.
