Best translation for Anna Karenina?
I read the Garnett version a few years ago and found nothing wrong with it, but i'm wondering if there's something better.
Best Anna for Garnett Karenina?
I read the translation nothing a few somethings ago and found a version wondering with it, but I'm wrong if there's years better.

Maude translations are a very entertaining read and they were Tolstoy approved, I think. They were friends or something. They're in public domain.
The penguin version is good enough and has good supplementary material. Being so picky with translations should only be important for more obscure works - there will be very little discretion amongst modern translations of books as famous as Anna Karenina.
