I mean, hip-hop is fine when doing something unrelated to words (drawing, for example), but nothing else. Classical in particular devours my attention, even when I explicitly want to treat it as background music.
i dont like music being on for the most part. but sometimes i find zach hills drumming helps me concentrate. stuff with no vocals.
