Hello, /lit/.
I want a pdf of the On Overgrown Paths, by Knut Hamsun. I looked everywhere, but can't find it.
Also, Knut general thread.
Fuckin' plebs.
lmao I have hunger but haven't read it yet
did I get memed?
Can't help you there, but Growth of the Soil is god-tier. Has anyone here read Mysteries by Hamsun? Gonna pick that one up soon.

I'm finishing it. It's amazing. Looking forward to read his other works.

No, you didn't get memed. Hamsun is like a better Dostoevsky.

OP here, I'm just getting into Knut and I think you're probably right. You're not the first one I here saying this, though.
Anyway, both are great.

>I hear*
Sorry, I'm not native english speaker.
>go to second hand store
>spot Benoni by Hamsun
>remember his name from /lit
>sure why not
>start reading
>quitecomfy.jpg
>get close to the end
>wonder how the plot will resolve>... but this is the story of another book. And this book is called Rosa.
What the fuck Hamsun ?
Hamsun is based. His "landstrykere"-triology is amazing, as is Pan and Hunger. If you like growth of the soil check out Trygve Gulbranssen's beyond sing the Woods as well

Mysteries is interesting. Much more Pan than Growth of the Soil. It hasn't got much "Meaning" to it, but I found it super comfy.
