Will this ride ever end? Why is reality so often stranger than fiction? Why is there an idiot on every fucking corner?
>>8006557
fuck, this describes my middle school principal perfectly. every assembly he'd come to the stage and launch into some fucking long, droning speech. literally every kid in the hall would sigh as he walked on, it was really loud, so he definitely heard it. it was always some kind of high-minded moral lesson like "dont watch porn" or "respect your elders" and it went on for about 30 minutes. i also went through this phase when i was 12 where i refused to listen to anyone and told everyone to fuck off because they didn't have "the right" to tell me what to do. was having babbys first existential crisis at the time, so it sort of makes sense. i got sent to his office and he said "you seem to have a very inflated opinion of your rights." i called him a retard and walked home.
anyway i liked what you said and im stealing it so thank you

A liberal sophist homosexual Athenean philosopher and dialectic was teaching a class on Socrates, known teleologist
"Before the class begins, you must get on your knees and worship Socrates and accept that he was the most highly-evolved being the world has ever known, even greater than Homer!“
At this moment, a rude, unshaven, pro-dog ex pirate slave who had masturbated 15 times a day and understood the futility of society and fully supported eating and drinking in the market stood up and held up a chicken.
"How would you describe a man, pinhead?”
The arrogant professor smirked quite Persianly and smugly replied “A featherless biped, you stupid cynic”
"Wrong. This chicken's been plucked since you made this observation. If man is a featherless biped and knowing thyself, as you say, is possible… then it should be a man now"
The philosopher was visibly shaken, and dropped his hemlock and copy of Apology (of Socrates). He stormed out of the room crying those Athenean crocodile tears. The same tears liberals cry for the “slaves” (who today live in such luxury that most are only beaten once a day) when they jealously try to claw captured catamites from the deserving ruling class. There is no doubt that at this point our philosopher, Plato, wished he had lived in a wine barrel and eschewed societal views of normalcy. He wished so much that hemlock to poison with and save himself from embarrassment, but he himself had philosophized against it!
The pupils applauded and all became Cynics that day and accepted no one as their lord and savior. An eagle named “Antisthenes” flew into the room and perched atop the Republic Flag and shed a tear on the chalk. The students masturbated several times, and Crates of Thebes himself showed up and enacted the principles of asceticism across the country.
The philosopher lost his tenure and was fired the next day. He died of the gay plague "The Plague" and was tossed into the underworld for all eternity.
>>8009139
”Wrong. It’s been 58 years since you published Syntactic Structures and plunged us into the dark age of cognitivism. If it was language was not simply a semiotic system among many and Universal Grammar, as you say, is real… then we would be speaking Hebrew now”.
The professor was visibly shaken, and dropped his chalk and his favorite Bill Cosby sweater. He stormed out of the room crying those anarcho-syndicalist crocodile tears, the same tears liberals cry for the “poor” (who today live in such luxury that most own refrigerators) when they publish tracts condemning right-wing dictators and ignoring the atrocities of left-wing rulers in Peru, Angola, Pakistan, and Equatorial Guinea. There is no doubt that at this point our professor, Noam Chomsky, wished he had pulled himself up by his bootstraps and become more than a sophist anarchist professor. He wished so much that he could blame his actions on the environmental influence of the academic ivory tower, but he himself had argued against it!
The students all predictably applauded at this positive stimulus that day and accepted B. F. Skinner as their lord and savior. An eagle named Radical Translation flew into the room and perched atop the American Flag and shed a tear on the chalk. The pledge of allegiance was read several times, and Willard van Orman Quine himself showed up and abolished all cognitive psychology departments across the country.
The professor lost his tenure and was fired the next day. He was sent to Guantanamo Bay for political subversion and was forced to watch looped footage of Foucault laughing at him for all eternity.

oh, that's you don't know what a grudge the russian orthodox church had (and still has!) against the poor harry
the funniest thing that i read it's when some russian christian writer (a woman ofc) wrote a parody about harry where the magical school is supported by the devil and the children fly on their mops because invisible devils carry them etc etc
also it seems it can be even more hilarious in the future, takinjg some political hues together with religious
http://www.rawstory.com/2016/04/the-russian-orthodox-church-is-having-a-full-fledged-freak-out-over-harry-potter-and-its-hilarious/
>The Russian Orthodox Church has apparently joined forces with the country’s Ministry of Culture and military to produce a film condemning satanist foreign powers, inspired by Harry Potter and Nazism.
>According to the clip, the main antagonists of the picture are represented by “an academy of sorcerers and wizards” in Scotland, who “mend the minds of children with presents and magic, that create demons, invisible to human eyes” and seek to “topple our country from inside”. Our protagonists are Russian military school students, who decide to rescue their peers from the castle walls of the wizard school.
here i began to giggle
>According to the synopsis of the film on its website (spoiler alert) the wizards are in league with NATO, whose warships appear to threaten our protagonist’s daring escape at the film’s climax. With the power of prayer, the cadets summon Russia’s nuclear fleet and thus, NATO retreats.
i think it's mostly a bullshit though

Hissing, hackles lifting, the chicken's head rose. Kahlan pulled back. Its claws digging into stiff dead flesh, the chicken slowly turned to face her. It cocked its head, making its comb flop, its wattles sway.
"Shoo," Kahlan heard herself whisper. There wasn't enough light, and besides, the side of its beak was covered with gore, so she couldn't tell if it had the dark spot, But she didn't need to see it.
"Dear spirits, help me," she prayed under her breath.
The bird let out a slow chicken cackle. It sounded like a chicken, but in her heart she knew it wasn't. In that instant, she completely understood the concept of a chicken that was not a chicken. This looked like a chicken, like most of the Mud People's chickens. But this was no chicken. This was evil manifest.
