I have also only read Naked Lunch but I loved it. Which of his other novels are similar? From my understanding his work is sort of a mixed bag.

The Nova Trilogy is kind of Naked Lunch essentialized and exaggerated, his last trilogy is more conventional and hallucinatory - I like it far better. Got Place of Dead Roads in front of me, shit's great.
