This goes into video games and their merit much better than the other video. Skip to around the 8 minute mark because the video's mostly about the game Bastion (though I'd still recommend watching the whole thing). He even mentions Finnegans Wake.

The only video games that even approach what could possibly be considered literature are Xenogears, Planescape: Torment, and MAYBE FFVI. Even these are only about on par with your average high school reading list texts (1984, Lord of the Flies, etc.)
