Nice samefag. Animal farm is about the same thing. Orwell was an anti-authoritarian writer. He even served in the Spanish Republican army alongside the anarchists in Catalonia who created a working stateless society for 3 years. He was a firm socialist for sure, with libertarian tendencies.

Am I the only one which had the word Fuck censores in the book? Got the penguin edition and it said F_____ instead of Fuck. It's annoying me more than it should.
Also Orwell was obviously a huge socialist who basically called upon a proletarion uprise in 1984.
I enjoyed the book a lot too. The torture chapters at the end were extremely well written.
Both movies are shite although Brazil is good.
