Been seein' a rise in Goosebumps threads the past couple weeks.
Let's get a general foing for Stine's TRUE magnum opus!
I know I read a few in fourth grade, thinking I was cool for reading the more "mature" horror series (the lesser being Goosebumps).
But I don't really remember what happened in any of them or even how I felt about them. Guess they just didn't make an impact.

It might help if you immerse yourself in something you read as a child to get back into that child-like state of mind via nostalgia, and THEN read these books.

That's the thing, I'm over that kind of nostalgia at this point. It's too late.

IT might just take a stronger dose than it used to to reactivate that nostalgia (like you'd have to read 3 books now as opposed to 1 or even just looking at a cover)
