What's your favorite chapter?
Chapter 5, when Oedipa wanders through the night. One of my favorite passages in any book.
I enjoyed the one where she went to see the Courier's Tragedy play

So let's say they make it into a film, who would you pick to direct? I think the scene with the old guy and Oedipa watching the movie together should be done by a joint director, I got a Wes Anderson vibe from the film with the dog in the sub.

Doesn't seem like Oedipa to me. She's a tightly wound housewife and too old to be a hippie. She also never dances in the book.

Nah mate the unresolved tangeants aid the mystery and paranoid atmosphere.
The play however did not. It indulged (as >>7879234 also suggests) a
minor "coincidental" detail over ten pages whereas others were, as you said, left unsolved.
I get she'd remember it but not enough for ten pages and i seem to remember (though i may be wrong) certain aspects or plot points going over her head.
