Not even sure if a somewhat serious answer should be posted in response to this.
This is an ongoing debate, obviously, with a multitude of new forms of expression within a certain medium being developed ever so often. Questions like : "why is this good" or "what effect does this achieve" still remain.
Now there's lots of free-form poetry or rhyming prose, or prose with rules or whatever.
But there is a reason for and an certain kind of meaning and impact gained with a certain form.
There is a reason for the form and an impact or response specific to the prose (in relatio to its contents) in Brecht's poetry, same goes for futurist oder dadaist stuff, same goes for the weird moments when prose starts flowing and rhyming, same goes for fucking Arno Schmidt with his typesetting nightmare in prose and so on.
The examples presented in this thread are kinda poop-ish. Simple statements with a little poetic coating on it, if the reader is lucky. The primary tool regarding form is a shitty use of the enjambment, very nontraditional .
Once again - to which end is this tool used ? Directing flow in an unusual manner, creating isolated, self-contained bits of meaning to feed them in to the whole ? Naah, it sounds deep and meaningful though.

This paragraph is proof that every woman or PoC look to whites for answers. White male poet's game? Every other country has their own culture and poets.
