That's essentially impossible. Memes are the new dialectic of alienated man. What could possibly be a more fitting language for a society that mediates solely on empty appearances than empty inside jokes? They mean nothing more than some basal understanding of being in on the joke. The future of language is the self-satisfying appropriation of irony into actual sincerity.

I wasn't saying it's a positive thing, it's possibly the most negative outcome for language that could possibly happen, and not out of some reactionary values to how popular it is, but because memes are the culmination of insincerity in language. Sophists were basically the self-help gurus and pick up artists of antiquity.
I think they have some merit in how they realized the psychology of manipulation.
