There were tons of socialisms in Europe during the latter half of the 19th century.

Just because something has the word 'Social' in it, doesn't mean it's Socialism.
The best thing that Righties could do right now is divorce pretty important things like 'Social Welfare' from the Left, and make them neutral again.
Even better, if they insist upon the strictest definition of Socialism as being nothing more than public ownership of the means of productions; which thus renders it little more than a quirky idea and a niche ideology.
