/lit/ what is the first novel that comes to mind when you think of mind-blowing/complex plots?

The more mysterious the better. Bonus points if you couldn't predict the ending.

The Long Goodbye by Raymond Chandler, I absoulutely loved the ending and how everything fit. It's my most favourite part in detective novels.

If you want something simply written but complexly plotted:

is a good recommendation.

If you're okay with some more complex style and structure as well then Little, Big by John Crowley or The Book of the New Sun by Gene Wolfe should suit.
