Thoughts on this? wiki claims it's autobiographical but I remember one of the stories was proven false. Is this worth reading for comedy?

read it awhile ago when it came out, thought it was funny at the time but I remember maybe two scenes from the whole book, I remember fairly large typefont and spacing, nothing else.

I'm considering picking it up again if anything to philosophize about the empty musings of a drunken brodude, but is the book authentically debauched or is it all a guise for shills?
