>tfw you bought the Wordsworth Classics version of The Iliad with the homo cosplayer on the front

HECTOR?
I'M ACHEA
>i dont blacklist wordsworth classics as a company from my mind
>i dont take them out only during LSD trips or while drunk to laugh at the poorly photoshopped tim and eric tier covers until my sides rupture and my throat is bleeding
When I'm able to afford the rea deal, I will sell or give away my Wordsworth's. Until then I am hiding them behind other books. Tbh I rather have Mein Kampf or Archeofuturism in my shelf than those shitty editions. It's embarrassing.

Looks like a video game cover. I think the marketing is probably targeting younger kids or something who think it looks really cool.

I thought that was a parodic photoshop until I looked it up. HAHA

I own this too, I've read it and it's not bad. But holy shit I've never taken it outside.
Considering Father Brown Stories from Wordsworth cos so cheap, i-it'll be ok r-right guys?
>also, tfw mum buys you dosto's the idiot in wordsworth and you have to look happy
One day I'm going to buy a big book shelf and fill with only these Wordsworth Classic publications.

Literally same
But my question is; how bad is the translation really?

kek
I don't really mind Wordsworth, some of the covers are god awful, but I've never had any issues with them really, got the 'big 4' Dostoyevsky novels and Ulysses in Wordsworth and I never particularly cared.
