I'm losing interest in my biggest project only one chapter in. It's taking too long to write but I don't want to give up all the hard work I put in, but if I stop now I'll probably never finish it.
what do I do?
Take your time with it, take a break if need be and write something else? Or maybe it's just not good, and your boredom is telling you that you are approaching it wrong.

Successful writing is mostly about a work ethic to just fucking keep going
Story themselves are alive, from the mind to the physical, it would be regrettable to die so early

Fampai, ask yourself: if you are not interested enough in your work to want to finish writting it, will your readers want to finish reading it? If you just need to give yourself more time to finish, do that, but if you've lost interest less then one chapter in, you should seriously consider changing what you are writting.
