Hey /lit/,
Wordplay question here, is there a term for when a character's first and last name combine to represent a real object?
Example:
Winter Green
Cherry Blossom
etc.
I've been Googling like made but to no avail.

For a forum about writing, I'd think that there would be more responses being, well, written.
It's possible that we don't know or the word doesn't exist.

I don't think there is a word, nor does there need to be. On a slightly unrelated note, my favorite example of this is from Lolita:
>Dolores Haze
>dolorous haze
Lazy?

>tfw dolores literally means "pains"
I know it's supposed to be after a saint but still, who would name their child that
Cliche

>no accent
get out

The closest term I can come up with is 'name pun', but that seems to be more properly for things like 'Amanda Hugginkiss' or 'Jenny Talia'.

implying the best things in life don't cause dolorousness and the saint thing is pretty hard to ignore
