Often times I find a little constriction to be better for creativity than complete freedom to write what ever I want.

I don't know about how well that would turn out. I feel like it would either be such a small detail that it is completely irrelevant, super cringey, or an endless stream of references which degrades into a guess-the-reference thing or straight up memes.
Actually, filling it up with /lit/ references might not be that bad. As long as they are somewhat transparent like Ulysses.
