Is there any guide to DFW & Don Dellilo?
>>7744570
Fun fact: when I made this I had only read 2 of Pynchon's books. Now I've read 4.
>>7744566
kek.
>>7744543
Swann' s Way isnt difficult at all

/r/ing the exit level chart

>no usa trilogy
???
>>7745678
It's pretty dense. It took me a lot longer to get through than most books I read.
Can we get the 11 part philosophy guide in here?
>>7745917
I hate bumps that only wait 15 minutes or so since the last post and then get all anxious.
>>7745924
Ok how is this bump? I waited for almost 5 hours.
>>7744566
I never hear about omensetter's luck, any good?
>>7745678
It's very long though.
>>7745242
lol I remember you've posted that before. I've read 'em all but Against the Day but I honestly think the guide you made works pretty well.
>>7745682
found this in another thread
I find the lack of Maugham on all of these lists plainly disturbing
>>7744543
>Women and Men a tier below Finnegan's Wake
honestly, FW can be easily understood with a strong sense of resolve and a thorough companion text. Women and Men cannot. It's painfully long, much more sophisticated and difficult, and is not written about very much.
>>7744552
um, this is pretty terrible
>>7747810
of human bondage was pretty disappointing desu senpai
>>7747845
why do you think so? I liked The Razor's Edge better but I didn't find Of Human Bondage disappointing at all
Post some philosophy infographics
>>7748241
Thank you. A lot of people have been asking for this. There are 11 charts that cover various fields of Philosophy fairly well.
>>7747867
it was pretty predictable for me, it felt like a rather poor bildungsroman with a severely unlikeable character, who i could not for the life of me identify with. i think i probably read it a little too late.

>There are 11 charts that cover various fields of Philosophy fairly well
Source
All these lists are forgetting one very important piece of literature.
>>7748682
>important
>transcends the meaning/unmeaning dichotomy
i think you're underselling it, really.
>>7748653
How am I suppose to have the source? The whole point of me being one of the people mentioning them is the off chance that someone else can furnish them for us. I just saw them on a thread a long time ago but never bothered to download them then.
>>7748698
Because they aren't very good
>>7748709
They were actually pretty decent and serve as a good starting off point for some. I just thought the thread would still be alive when I had more time to download images off of it.
If you have them just upload them already ffs.
>>7748725
It starts with the greeks
Its all you need to know
>>7748743
"it". Philosophy isn't a monolithic structure and I doubt they can tell you anything about every subfield and modern philosophy.
>>7748751
I didn't mean its all you need to know about philo, I mean its all you need to know about the chart.

Does anyone have the
Dutch literature chart
German
English
French
and some more Plato charts? Lost all of 'm due to a corrupted hard drive ;_;
Is there a resume with the romans chart?
11 philosophy charts or gtfo...
>>7745242
Which four?
>>7745237
Never seen one here. Make them, it's your time to shine anon.
I have a few. Starting with my personal favorite
>>7752877
Another one i'm sure everyone has by now.
>>7752884
>>7752891
oh boy someone started posting the autistic guides. Here we go. Wew lad.
>>7752892
Has anyone read any of these? I'm curious as to what they offer and would like someone's experience before I consider reading any myself.
>>7752918
save yourself the trouble. they weren't worth the time picking them up.
>>7752900
What do you mean? There is no difference between the previous posts and my own.
>>7752892
If you cut the last three categories this list is actually good
But move the Kybalion up to Core Texts
A tl;dr: Grab the "Corpus Hermeticum" and the "Kybalion" then call it a day.
That modern ritualistic "Hermetics" like Golden Dawn has next to nothing to do with the core stuff and will honestly just get in the way.
>>7744525
Is there a guide to entry level poetry? Feel like getting into it, but no idea where to start, there's a stupid amount out there.
>>7753047
Nevermind, missed the one posted like three up.
Any others would still be appreciate though.

Here is lits history guide
>>7755319
Yes guide me! show me the way! without you i will be lost !
hysterical yes it's quite funny what you "/lit/izens" get up to on this board. what you fools call "guides". hilarious. no no these aren't guides these are tools which enable their creators to gain a sense of pride when they are lauded by other fools.
"oh you made this guide. it's quite lovely i applaud you in it's creation. read these books? no i won't read them i will just save this image and never look at it again. i don't quite know what i'm looking at but yes yes it looks quite professional"
terrible nonsense. absolutely trite.
>>7755688
wait is dubs alive and making these?
