I managed to put out 2 short stories since Christmas, and no-one in my family knew. No-one in my office knew (excluding my manager, because he actually takes an interest). Four of my friends knew, though only two of them actually bought my work.
I want a life where my work gets a lot of attention and people like it enough to want more (or even do fan art), but I don't want anyone around me really knowing what I do. I'm fucked.

I used to play around with fiction during most of my wannabe times, then I gave up on writing, picked up music production (where I found myself way more accomplished) and nowadays I write essays.
