How many books have you read? How many books do you read on a yearly basis? How many pages a day do you read?

People on /lit/ do not read.
Now start with the western canon.
Day: 15 - 60
Year: 8 - 20
Interested to see how this measures up, think I'm probably on the lower end of average for a "reader"
since Jan I've read 4
>How many books do you read on a yearly basis?
50-60
>How many pages a day do you read?
idk, I read until I get tired or have something else to do.

Since age 20, I've read around 800, which ends up about 120-130 books every year.
I read at least 100 pages a day, often more than that.
On Goodreads I've logged 339 books.
If you factor in everything I read as a kid the number might be three times that, but then who's counting Captain Underpants?

A day I read anywhere from 0-100, rarely more than that but it does happen. But, my job does afford me the freedom to read. I'm sure that's why most people don't read as much as they'd like
Never really counted how many books a year I read. Never bothered to care enough to count.

10 childrens books=1 mature book textwise

I didn't think I needed to specify, since you could do the math there pretty easily.
I'm 26 now

Daily? 10-100, depends really. I've read 20 yesterday and today but 200 this Sunday.
I've read 20 books with around 200 pages each this year.

What's your job?

That anon was probably remarking that he himself was 21, and comparing himself to you, book penis wise.

Oh, makes sense.
I got a ton of reading in when I was 21-22, since I had just "got into" reading again and went a bit nuts. More than 150 books read during those two years.

Basically a glorified babysitter. I pick up three girls from school and essentially do nothing save make sure they don't kill themselves. They're old enough to know what not to do anyhow so I just sit back and read 'till their parents get home

That sounds nice. Is it full-time too?

Not in terms of hours works, so no. But the family is wealthy enough to pay a good wage. It helps support myself, my habits, and partially pay for school.
