Claiming to be opposed to socialism while essentially advocating for the exact same thing by a different name.

His and Belloc's distributionism are quite different as socialism is materialist.
Meme tier author of genre fiction (chrisposter) with no discernible talent.
I read The Purle Wig. It was okay.
I think he's a writer that you have to read on the sentence level. Even his worst essays, where he's arguing badly for stupid things, or jumping from topic to topic incoherently, tend to contain a great sentence or two.
For example, "The Revival of Philosophy - Why?" is a thoroughly mediocre piece. But:
>Men have always one of two things: either a complete and conscious philosophy or the unconscious acceptance of the broken bits of some incomplete and shattered and often discredited philosophy.

He's basically a communitarianist (ie Aristotelian) but he calls himself a "distributist."
It's not quite the same as communism or anarchism.
He'd agree with Aristotle that communism prevents charity and is therefore flawed.
