Why doesn't /lit/ have a guide to Philosophy yet? It would clear up half the shitty threads here
"Start with the Greeks." <<<<

Right, but its needs to be a bit more than that, like, which Greeks, and what after the Greeks
>>7710554
the Greeks is a meme author. literally genre tier fiction. no discernible talent.
Plato - Aristotle - Seneca - Aurelius - Augustine - Descarte - Hume - Locke - Spinoza - Voltaire - Kant - Hegel - Schopenhauer - Kierkegaard - Nietzsche - Stirner
>>7710569
why read the stoics and voltaire?
why end with stirner?
i don't trust your judgement.
>>7710550
we do
it's actually pretty good
a bit contentious, but good

>philosphy
Also, ask /his/
>>7710550

>>7710626

>>7710626

the fuck you talking bout?
>>7710881
Any idea why Stirner was removed from it?
>>7710550
ITT it bears mentioning that /his/ is a thing.
Happily, after years of waiting, although 4chan has no dedicated "philosophy" board, it now has not one, but two boards where /philosophy may be meaningfully discussed/, being /lit/ and /his/.
>>7710993
for what it's worth, the two boards claim to have different angles they like to talk about philosophy. /lit/ is more interested in the works of philosophers where /his/ (which also includes humanities) is interested in their ideas as well as the cultural impact. this is how it's supposed to work but i don't think it matters or anyone really cares
