You should probably just talk to people, then from there you can be creative with the syntax. If you were writing some shitty science fiction novel then obviously people wouldn't be talking in the same way that they do now, so you got to get creative with it.

Are you Wilbur or Orville?

wright on, bro!

OP: watch every episode of "House" and study the way he shits on everyone else. because there is nothing more natural in conversation that shitting on people.

Think about your characters and what they want out of the exchange, it should be two wills bouncing against each other until an end is reached.

I guess I could be nicer. It might be worth getting familiar with the whole ' how do I words?' tho, if you want to pursue writing as a thing. Spelling, grammar. Just read a lot an it will start to come naturally. Don't look for a lot of support on anonymous message boards. Also, you want criticism and a strong ego more than 'support'. Good luck.

Listen to the way people talk. Keep a notebook. Wrote down phrases that you overhear that stick in your head. Get in the characters heads. Ask yourself who the characters are , what is their back story? Are they streetwise or booksmart? Sarcastic or sincere? What do they really want and what are they hiding? What are their mannerisms when they talk? A writer is someone who studies people.

Not OP, but how do I improve my essay writing aside from, y'know, writing? I go through The Elements of Style with each one to make sure the grammar and prose is efficient, and I think my essays are okay but I'd always like to get better.

Talk with yourself, Imagine how dialogues proceed by changing point of view, imagine how people react to what they get told.
Sometimes autism helps.
