Anyone else get really quiet when working on a longer piece, like a novella or novel? Or even shorter ones? I tend to shutdown in terms of being social, like all my words get funneled into my work and I have nothing more to say out loud.

I follow a basic hemingway rule of write drunk edit sober, so I end up alternating between getting fubar and vanishing for days at a time
