I got my IQ tested at 132 and honestly I still feel like a dumbass. I seem to struggle with the easiest tasks and concepts can still take me a long time to grasp. It often seems like people with lower IQs have an easier time with immediately knowing how to do something, and just doing it.

High IQ makes life easier, but it's the not the magic fix it all some people expect. It doesn't absolve you from any other basic human needs and conflicts. And my academic and professional life didn't become easier, the material just became harder. Sure I'm studying at a higher level course than my friend with a lower IQ, but our respective courses provide an equal amount of challenge, relative to our capacity.

Does anyone have some sort of paper that explores the difference in experience between those with high iqs (or general high intelligence, iq is a useful measure but im not entirely convinced that its the be all and end all) and low iqs? As in general understanding of concepts, mathematics, literature, etc?
I wouldn't classify myself as that intelligent - I'm far too poorly read in numerous topics - but on IQ tests I've never scored below 130 so generally get classified in the higher percentiles of 'intelligence' and never had difficulty understanding anything in school or anything I've really read (sure, reading Kant is not that easy but with a little bit of effort its ok).
What is it actually liked to have low natural intelligence and struggle with 'intellectual' matters? I find it difficult to comprehend how someone would find say Calculus I difficult (providing you've done precalc of course, not that I'm saying Calc I is difficult, just people do seem to bemoan calculus) or really struggle with reading the likes of Hegel or Shakespeare or Gaddis or whatever. Ironically enough this difficulty of comprehension is probably a sign of low intelligence.

Sorry for the late response.
I was given an IQ test in first grade (Age 7) and was subject to all sorts of enrichment programs by the school following the results along with one other girl from my grade.
These programs were unorthodox and persisted throughout elementary school. Looking back on it I feel as if we were a social experiment as there already was a standard enrichment program consisting of about 10 students that met at regular intervals.
Looking back at it, the entire situation is bizarre. Most certainly a waste of resources as well considering how I turned out.

I have high IQ and almost died of mental illness. (Serious suicide attempt.) So high IQ can be literally fatal, in a way. I also otherwise suffer from chronic depression and demotivation and really I'd kill myself if it weren't just for my family; that's the only reason I haven't re-attempted suicide.

IRC is literally just a chat protocol; there are a dozen servers implementing it, and on every server there are literally hundreds of channels.
When people talk of "IRC" on 4chan in the sense of organized shitposter groups, they're speaking of some specific channels on the Rizon IRC servers, AFAIK. I tried lurking in one of them once (Sitztra's channel or whatever his name was), and was banned after someone noticed I was foreign to the channel. Indeed I was trying to "spy" on them to see if/how they were really organizing shitposting on /a/, because some shit on /a/ was really getting on my nerves.
Normally I just use software-related channels on Freenode, and sometimes OFTC. Has absolutely no relation to the IRC shitposters you have in mind.
