No. Many people love to crowbar sex into everything they see, but that's their hormones speaking. Keep in mind that not everybody has a strong sex drive, and neither should your characters.
When every other conversation and social situation in a book is filled with flirting, sexual tension or sexual allusions, when every character in a book is a slut, it just makes the reader think of the author as sex obsessed or desperate. Especially, though not exclusively, when the author is a straight guy and every single female character in the book is there for seduction, sex and not much else. That's very telling. Those characters are not just flat, they're insubstantial.
Be subtle. Include sex and desire if that's something that would actually happen, not something that you're thinking about.

God I used to think this sort of shit was just something people made up until I walked in on my gf at the time reading some YA crap just like that. She hated it but a friend lent it to her and she's one of those people that if she starts something she has to finish it no matter how shit it is.
