What's more reddit than caring about "spoilers"?
Genuinely curious

do people not know this?

its called a foreword for a reason, its not my fault authors are faggots who dont care about muh plot. im still salty from the time when i read the foreword before Brave New World in freshman year
>reading for the plot
You know what, when I'm reading a detective novel from 1867, I kind of expect that the foreword is going to assume I know what it's about.
I don't, so I'll just skip it and start at chapter one.
only foreword i read before the book (in fiction) is Confederacy of Dunces, because relevant.Otherwise I skip them: either spoilers, or stupid elucidation/explanation and always boring
And fuck Slavoj with his 2 forewords for organs without bodies, that was DFW tier memery
