I'm not a Marxist and hate the idea of collectivism at the cost of those who know how to play the capitalist game well and get rich. I see no problem with my station in life and don't particularly enjoy the thought of robbing someone of their livelihood just because I wasn't as smart/dedicated/hard-working/lucky as them. I haven't gone to college and don't intend to, as I would most likely pay out my ass for a degree that would have no real use in the real world while also being forced to learn from people who actively hate me just because I'm a straight white male who happens to be right-leaning. Rosa Luxemburg - The Accumulation of Capital [or her "An Anti-Critique" which is essentially a shorter summary of the central thesis], this is an extension on volume 2 of capital and should be read with it
that's all you need, maybe read up on the history of french socialism, classical british economics, and classical german philosophy before diving into marx

I just read comrade Ta-Nehisi's latest piece attacking the Sanders campaign, including with said text was a massive pic of Sanders bald spot (has any other candidate in memory had so many "top view" shots taken of him by the establishment press? not likely) where he argues Sanders is a racist old man who blacks shouldn't support since he doesn't want reparations to be part of his campaign platform. Coates constant ranting about reperations always rustled me a little, since air dropping a bunch of white people's cash into the hood is not going to fix the problems in the black community, but with his attacks on Sanders I now realize Coates was never really serious anyways, he was always a tool of 1% rule.
