To be fair, it can be a bit of a slog to get through since the author does a wonderful job of making his prose as dreary and monotonous as the setting
the only hard part is doing it with consistency. i used to read multiple books in a sitting, it's pretty much a bad deal all around in terms of eye sight, body, posture, health, mental well being
