That picture makes for an excellent portrait of a second string ballerina, the "her" being referred to.

On the other hand, I can't imagine this author bothering about with political theory in any form, as opposed to characterizing the ruling class through secondary characters the protagonists swim around. If I stumble on such a passage later on in that book I'll be damned surprised.

I like to think I'm an ideological pluralist (aka I'm emotionally swayed towards Marxism and logically strung towards Paleolibertarianism), hence I have many books on political theory, and Hoppe's 'Democracy: The God That Failed' just happened to be on the top.
