Just curious on what your thought are of this guy as an author?
Fuck off newshit
>“You know, I don’t want to be offensive. But ‘The Fault in Our Stars’ [regarded by many as Green’s masterpiece] is just awful. It seems ridiculous to have to say it. He can’t think, he can’t write. There’s no discernible talent.”
>[Green] seems to have been a very sincere and troubled person, but that doesn’t mean I have to endure reading him. I even resented the use of the term from Shakespeare, when Cassius says to Brutus: "The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars, / But in ourselves, that we are underlings."

I agree with most of the things he says, despite the fact he's a low-testosterone blob
>>7576376
you know that quote isn't actually referring to John Green, don't you?
>>7576143
don't bring the DFW/John Green or Don Deathbed Delilo/John Green metameme back
>>7576530
>Don Deathbed Delilo
kek
I wonder how Johnnyboy feels knowing that all of the important critics and thinkers hate him and only impressionable teenage girls like him.
>>7576808
Probably feels good because he's rolling in $$$$$$
>>7576817
Isn't that painful to know as a writer? That you'll never been taken seriously by the literary world?
>>7576123
He's pretty shit desu
>>7576808
Personally I'm gonna go for the teen girl fan club myself.
>>7576821
Do you really think he has any sort of integrity or seeks the approval of the literary world? If he did, he'd write non-shit book.
>>7576821
Not if you don't give a fuck
>>7576808
/lit/ is mistaken in thinking of him primarily as a writer. Green himself probably makes this mistake too, but really, he's a YouTube vlogger. He puts way more time and energy into his YA YouTube content than his YA books.
