Thus your body is less susceptible to stress in the future. So in your weightlifting program you make it more stressful. This compounds until with diminished returns. So a natural lifter will eventually only be making an ounce of muscle per year, basically he can't gain muscle anymore. At this point though you are so strong that daily activities cause no stress to your body, as it is well adapted to stress already.
It's the same with cardiovascular health. Your heart can only beat for so long before it fails. So if your heart rate is too high it will fail faster. Thus it is important to strengthen your heart so that it takes less pumps to get the blood circulated throughout your system. By doing cardio you do raise your heart rate. Is that counter-intuitive because a raised heart rate is bad? No, because it is a temporary stress, and your body will adapt to having a slower heart rate while resting.

I'm slightly disappointed. By the way how old are you? For practical reasons go and be an RN. It's good pay, and job stability from what I hear. Definitely one of the better options in terms of what degree to get. Being an author is probably everyone's dream on /lit/ but it's not practical. You have to get lucky or have connections. Summarized, it's' great. Motivation is much better, I feel more immersed and amused, my interpretation is more creative and effortless without being too far-fetched. In general, it makes most things better.
The microdose really is key though. I never go above 25μg when it's LSD, or above 75mg when it's mescaline. Beyond that, you enter the realm of inane acid/peyote philosophy, non-coherent, blabbering and idiotic. When you aim so low that you can hardly feel you're on it, that's where the magic is. More of a tweak to thought than an entire transformation of it.
It's subtle but great. Hoffman, the inventor of LSD, thought that if it weren't for the rampant abuse of it by the hippies, it might have taken the place of methylphenidate/amphetamines for those suffering from ADD, as a healthier, safer alternative. I'm inclined to agree - at microdoses, the effects are not entirely unlike a therapeutic dose of stimulants, but sans autism and obsessive tendencies, the two primary drawbacks I suffer from when I'm on stims.
