i have a very positive feeling about this

I am going to read Woman and Men soon and Zettels Traum later this year, but I have many shorter books lined up, too, like novellas by Stefan Zweig and many <200 pages books by Arno Schmidt before I read Zettel. I think I can make it.

My goal is 60 for this year. Granted, I typically only read around ~20. I've never hit one of these goals before and I've done 5. Maybe this year I'll score.

I'm reading for philosophy and feels. Pic related. Hoping to exceed my target this year.

1: Actively repulsive with no redeeming value
2: Little value
3: Mildly enjoyable, whether undermined by issues or just lacking something further
4: Really good
5: Fantastic

You're welcome. You might want to create separate rating classifications for non-fiction and fiction. I'm thinking about doing it as I've been having a minor quandary at times where the information in a non-fiction book is great but it was just really dry in comparison to a decent novel. I already somewhat implement that separation mentally but I haven't created a standard criteria yet. I might just be getting a bit too autistic about it.
Really challenging myself this year lads. A whole 26 books!

oops, i meant 25, but what the heck, i might as well go full on hard mode and go for 26

How did you read over 2,200 pages in one day yesterday Sebastian?
>>7531062
I didn't?
>>7531063
But that's the page count of the six books you've read thus far.
>>7531062
>>7531063
the books I finished in the last two days, look at day added=started reading
>>7531067
I started half of them last year, generally I read around 500-800 pages a day, if I am not drunk. I read around 70-120 pages an hour, I could read 1200 pages of genre-fiction a day without problem.

I'm aiming for 40 books this year. I achieved 20 last year but this year I want to go over some classics I highly anticipate while also finding some potential novels for adaptation. I'm actually very excited.

If I liked the book and felt it had value to my life: 5
If I didn't like the book: I don't post about it on the internet and instead look for more books

Same, but English isn't my native and I have attention issues so I space out a lot.
