Been tempted to buy this edition for a while. It collects Dracula, Dracula's Guest, and other stories by Stoker. However, I've seen a couple of reviews saying the stories are heavily edited. Anyone can confirm?
Are you guys dead?

Sorry for not being a hardcore /lit/ user who has memorized Ulysses from cover to cover. I just want to confirm what I'll be getting if I buy this.

Is Dracula actually a decent book?

The first half is quite nice, afterwards things turn into a boring "And then we did X and then we did Y and then we did Z" mess.

THANK YOU. Frankenstein blows
if that chick hadn't been fucking that famous gay guy nobody would remember Frankenstein today
Dracula was absolute shit, it is the worst classic novel I have ever read.
>be me writing in my diary
>let me just write every fucking detail from the color of the sky to the clothes the person I'm talking to is wearing.
>better yet, let me describe in detail the rocks and the windows of the building nearby.
The use of the journals to progress this novel was just ridiculous and unbelievable. It might have worked if Stoker
progressed the story some other way, but I doubt it even then because the overall plot was shit as well. The only
redeeming quality of Dracula was Dr. Seward and his lunatic.

I thought Frankenstein was average but I enjoy Shelley's other works and her poetry. The Last Man is pretty good.
Dracula is pretty boring imo desu senpai. Most of the book, nothing is happening.
