Unlike Islam, Hinduism today is pretty much genuinely as peaceful as its current followers claim it is.
They're not warning you about terrorism, they're just crazy people. It's a common-cause relationship; they're maniacs, so they follow this religion, and also believe that "watch out for the terrorists" is good advice for everyone.
Read the book if it's small. I've never heard of it but I have some respect for Hindu lit.I've been saying Hindu but is Hare Krishna actually Buddhist? I'm not sure
