Well, what happened there is, of courseā€”now all of you must adjust your brainsā€”the biggest work of art there has ever been. The fact that spirits achieve with one act something which we in music could never dream of, that people practise ten years madly, fanatically for a concert. And then die. [Hesitantly.] And that is the greatest work of art that exists for the whole Cosmos. Just imagine what happened there. There are people who are so concentrated on this single performance, and then five thousand people are driven to Resurrection. In one moment. I couldn't do that. Compared to that, we are nothing, as composers. [...] It is a crime, you know of course, because the people did not agree to it. They did not come to the "concert". That is obvious. And nobody had told them: "You could be killed in the process."

This fuckin guy, I think he posts on /int/

Several of the people there were (and are) incredibly talented and creative in ways that you couldn't really find elsewhere on the internet. Most of it was comedic, of course, but some of them had an excellent grasp of the uncanny as well, almost to the point of being terrifying. I'll definitely miss the feeling it gave me when I first discovered and became immersed in the place.

I'm sure I could have put it more eloquently, but that's the short version.

Breaking Bad, not for the cucky bandwagon appeal but for the incredibly executed character arcs

Wilfred (american version) - it had it's missteps, but overall had a really nuanced take on mental illness amongst all the poop jokes. Also, the last two episodes of season 1, plus the first episode of season 2, are taken together the best example of writing for TV (maybe the screen in general) I've ever witnessed

Shall we compile his posts and publish them under the title "Infinite Jest 2"? I think it's what DFW would have wanted.
>>
>>7496208
I genuinely think this is the case, that he's performing art. Don't tell /pol/ on me
>>
>>7496354
>DFW would have wanted
Hell no.
Pretentious autistic praise of a work of high art is far from being intellectual and/or sincere, not to mention that DFW didn't write for this kind of recognition
>>
>>7496356
he's clearly serious
his campaign is more important than whether he gets the presidency or not
>>
Upstream Color, or perhaps the screenplay "A Topiary".

There's no Scarface from the 21st century, but the original Scarface from 1932 directed by Howard Hawks is the superior one.

I was thinking The Sopranos too, anon. Feels like it's made by someone with a true vision. Too bad all else on TV is shit, just wait until the medium is taken seriously and then people will see
