How bad are/what are the typos and errors present in the penguin classics deluxe edition of Gravity's Rainbow?
THERES ONE FUCKING SENTENCE CUT SHORT
STOP THIS MEME
IT'S A SENTENCE THAT DOESN'T EVEN MAKE SENSE ANYWYAS ITS A BUNCH OF DREAMSCAPE JABBERWOCKY
>Your task, in these dreams, is often to pens
vs
>Your task, in these dreams, is often to cross—under the trees, through the shadows—before something happens

this, and tbph I prefer the misprint
>>7485803
That's it, huh? Well meme'd, my friend.
>>7485803
So I should just get it because the first print edition is either really fucking hard to find or really fucking expensive?
>>7485814
Penguin corrected the error in later printings of that edition. The one I have sitting on my shelf has the sentence intact. /lit/ is just insufferable about driving memes into the fucking ground.

So purchasing from amazon I would receive a later printing of the edition?
>>7485814
IIRC, the blue(print) edition and the edition with multiple single colored rockets are both fine
>>7485814
NO because deluxe edition is bulky and ugly and costs more
get literally any std. paperback version
>>7485876
Pens? Holy fug.
>>7485897
>costs more
not with holiday deals, it doesn't
>>7485876
I just bought it off amazon a few days ago and it has the typo. If it's something that bothers you go for a different edition.
>>7485876
The 2006 edition that I have has the sentence intact. So I'd assume any edition after that one would have the typo edited as well.

can you post an image of your edition?
Are there any problems with the Vintage editions?
