>tfw have to finish every book I start, no matter what

anyone else know this feel?
>>

I always follow Nabokov's suggestions so I never read bad books.

>I always follow Nabokov's suggestions so I never read bad books.

>I tell myself I don't read shit book. But then again, I am a pedophile and don't know good from bad to begin with.

Why bother thinking for yourself when other people can decide for you?
>>
>>7475750
just put down the book you idiot
>>
>>7475750
how long do you make the intervals of time in which you read? sorry for my english. I can only read for a small bit at a time before my neck or back hurts from sitting too long in any position.

It is an obligation,-- it must be done, or I will feel unspeakably uncomfortable.

>>
>>7477473
I don't, he never recimmended them.
>>
>>7476260
I'm sorry
>>

It goes away. The feeling exists because your powers of critical judgment are weak (or you lack confidence in them).
>>
>>7475750
I feel this way about articles/posts, which can get really annoying late at night, especially if I click on hyperlinks, but I realized fairly early on that I shouldn't give books I don't like the time of day.

Books I haven't finished:
>~3rd grade: Swiss Family Robinson
>~10th grade: Great Expectations

And then as an upperclassman in college I left plenty of books unfinished, but that was just a coping mechanism and most of them weren't bad.
>>
I've stopped reading more books than I've finished, as a result I've still read many books and enjoyed all of them.
