The videos are dumb and not funny, they try way too hard. However, without the visual/audio component, it's hilarious. I picked up a copy to read casually in the bookstore a while back and it made me laugh out loud a couple of times

As if someone can't even read a summary unless it's made 'relevant' and punctuated by jokes.

I like him even though I agree it's a bit too tryhard and not funny, sometimes his analyses do bring something new I hadn't thought of before.

I enjoy Wisecrack's videos. They're simple and, as others have already stated, try to hard to be funny but I still enjoy their content.

The jokes aren't funny enough to keep me entertained. The summary/analysis isn't in depth enough to keep me interested.
I would keep away but we actually watch them I class and even the people who enjoyed them in at first have gotten bored.
