Could you have seriously been this patrician while surrounded by plebs, being filmed by cameras, and under pressure to recite from memory?
Admit it, no matter what you think of P Hitch, he did us proud in this video

>if it doesn't get me a job it's pointless
good goyim

Christopher was able to site much longer poems by rote
>>7424679
The amount of poetry he already recited was too much for the plebs of the audience as it is.

Who cares? We're not talking about Christopher here.

As little as I like Peter I actually respect that a hell of a lot more. Peter is generally pretty douchey, and out-of-touch on a lot of issues, but when it comes to subjects like this he's pretty great. Its nice to see a genuine patriot.

hahahahahahaha

He's kind of right you know
Doesn't memorizing poetry help you remember stuff in general? I remember reading a study that claimed that.

>morals
>right
AAHHHHHHHH
>>7424728
>>7424391
isn't this hardol boolm?
>>7424732
If you yourself memorise poetry and are able to remember the exact name of the study then you adhere to the study's conclusion, regardless of whether said study exists or not.
>>7424921
>regardless of whether said study exists or not.
useless
If the study didn't exist then I couldn't name or remember it. So the existence of the study does matter.

"And to pour scorn on it and to say that it is unimportant is to declare yourself a spiritual desert."
He did.
I don't like him in general but I enjoyed that video. Thanks. He only looked good because he was beside imbeciles.
I'm not conservative but I respect him.
Good guy Hitchens saves the day.
I gained immense respect for peter after seeing this video.

I love le morality lad

His best performance.

A great performance but not his best.

that's great that he can do that but his argument was that you should do it because your parents did it and their parents did it and you're morally hollow otherwise.
>>7424728
About what? About fun being immoral?
>>7424402
bonjur r3ddit!

Hitchens drinks

That's a puny simplification of a well thought-out, eloquently put argument concerning why it's important for children in public schools to have their minds "furnished with beauty". I can't imagine a single parent worth their salt who would lay upon their children the great disservice of withholding things like poetry. Maybe when you become a parent, and all your child wants to do is browse dank memes you'll understand. Pleb.
Peter Hitchens is a champ. Binge watching videos of his and I see myself agreeing with all of his points, and the audience laughing against him only reinforces my respect for him.
