Anyway, I don't think having friends means you can't enjoy 4chan anon. These anons here, sadly, are more alike me than most of my freinds; who just care about gossip and sports. I love my buddies, and I love my life, but /lit/, in all it's pseudo-intellectual glory, kind of gets me --for now at least.
Everyone's getting hung up on the'friends' aspect of it. I meant that in general, the more time I spent on /lit/ and the more I identified with the people and discussions on there, the worse my life got. And the opposite was true on /fit/ and /fa/ (more so /fit/ though, there's alot of fedoras on /fa/).
