Is it bad if I imagine every character in books as anime?
>>7415889
that is the only patrician way of reading.
yes, it means you are thirteen, regardless of how old you've managed to not die so far

No desu senpai
I only do that with modern contemporany novels. For ancient novels I can't help but imagine every man as super muscular and tall, like in neoclassicist paintings. It's just no fun if it's not like that.
ITT: AutismI do it too sometimes :3
>>7415909
I mean, for ancient epics, poems, narratives, etc.
>>7415889
it's better than having yourself can't help but picture them as furries
I do this for terrible novels, it's the only I can chug through the damn thing.Catch-22becomes instantly entertaining when imagined as a moe anime.

wat?
>>7415928
That's fucking cruel. Why do you picture them as furries?
>>7415933
Major Major Major Major is best girl!

I used to be part of the fandom. I don't really want to go into it in any detail because it's rather shameful, so let's just leave it at my imagination simply being obsessed with them, so that's what it procudes when I read books. And I don't know how to turn it off.
>>7415966
I have nothing against furries, but that's interesting regardless.
>>7415889
I do that often. Some characters are real people, some characters are anime.
More than often I unconsciously imagine characters as one real/anime character I saw somewhere else and fits the description.

Darker than Black? More like browner than shit.

That's enough /lit/ for the rest of my life

Pretty sure that's how Nabokov got into reading.
