What the fuck is up with that? Fits in really well with all the Japanese literature....
>>7402900
Not him, but Twain is actually extremely popular in Japan. There's a quick academic book on it if you're curious about that, Mark Twain in Japan.

It was pretty good. Definitely my favorite Barth. Kinda like mason & dixon but not as good.
>>7403806
I heard it described as a novel length version of 'Bob Dylan's 115th Dream' and became interested
Having never read Barth and a little intimidated by the name, how tough a read would you say it is? How long did it take you?
>>7403426
>sorting by publisher
jesus christ why
>>7403839
Have you read mason & dixon? If you have I wouldn't worry about it.
If not, it took me about 3 weeks. He's not an extremely difficult writer.
Do you guys just not have a lot of booksales in your areas or what? Every April and October one of the big city libraries with over 9 branches around the 50 mile radius have booksales for dirt cheap, and recently our Humane Society organized a huge book sale where is was "all the books you can fit in a paper grocery bag for 7 bucks"
i have at least 300 books at this point and its to the point where I have to keep some at my gf's place
>>7403877
