Im about to subscribe to The Library of America. Does anybody else do this? Am I making a mistake?
Do any other publishers have good subscription services?

Is there anything special about Library of America books? Or are they just another one of those "neat hardcover" publishers?

A mistake making a mistake. Yowch. But will it undo your parents's crime?

Check it out m8. These aren't the signature black books that a synonymies Library of America. They are really nice hardcovers tho and you get a 3 book set for like $10 to start then get a book a month for like $25 bucks

Those are literally the 'black books' without the dustcover.
I think Amazon discounts LoA prices. You can also get them available used. I'd just get them off there and not worry about a subscription. I'm not a big fan of how thin their pages are desu

I've thought about doing that, but as someone else pointed out, it's pretty easy to get them for quite cheap as used books.
I've gotten a few Library of America books for $2 - 3 that would have otherwise been $25 - 30 if I had bought them as new books through their website.
Although I must say, it would be nice to get a new book from them every so often.

where do you find them that cheap? Also these are really nice books for the price
Do you really need ALL of them? Just buy the good ones.
