Anyone have any reccomendations for steam punk lit? I used to dislike steam punk bit I think that was just a reaction against cosplayers. Now I think the ideas are pretty interesting, I particularly enjoyed Alan Moore's League of Extraordinary Gentlemen series.

maybe not steam punk per se but old school futuristic literature has that feel.
anything by hg wells, war of the worlds, the sleeper awakes, the land ironclads, the time machine
i would also recommend Professor Branestawm a children's book but brilliant none the less
