Have you ever read a book just to impress someone? We're all anons here....
I've never actually done this, no.
Only myself. Nobody else is worth the effort.
Nah.
Though I wouldn't put it past myself if the grill I was to impress was legit 10/10 both physically and mentally.
Every book I read is for the purpose of impressing some existential judge.

I read wuthering heights to impress a girl in high school
Why when you expand the OP image does it get all glitched and pixel-y? Does that happen for anyone else?

It sporadically occurs on the site.
I read Goethe's Faust to impress a girl (now a man) who loved it and was learning German very well just to read it in the origianl
The first harry potter novel and the fellowship of the ring around grade 3 to impress my teacher. I imagine it's pretty normal around that age and I certainly don't feel embarrassed about it.
